NEDA requires that anyone mounted on a horse must wear
USEF / USDF approved head gear
except for approved competition head gear
when competing and during Award Ceremonies

NOTE THAT FEI LEVEL RIDERS MUST WEAR HELMETS!
NEDA's policy is more inclusive than that of USEF
(CDI riders are excluded)

GENERAL REMINDERS

PAYMENT OF ENTRY FEES BY CREDIT CARD
Fall Festival 2012 will accept only Visa and Mastercard credit cards
American Express will no longer be accepted.

DISTRIBUTION OF PRIZE MONIES
Checks for Prize Monies (except for USDF Regional Championships, which are mailed by USDF)
will be made out to and mailed to Owner on Entry one week after Show.

Concerning Prize Money won by Foreign Competitors:
US IRS requires sporting events to withhold 30% of prize money won in the US.
Foreign competitors should apply for a US Social Security number
and will be asked to complete form 8283 or complete a W-8 Certificate of Foreign Status.
American competitors receiving $600 or more in Prize Monies must complete IRS W-9 form
with tax information for 1099's.
Show Manager must receive it on or before the Saturday following show completion.
The W-9 form is available below.


PRIZE MONEY WILL BE SENT TO OWNER UNLESS.....
For payment to any other party (than Owner) Show Manager must be notified
with Written Notification on or before the Saturday following show completion,
with indication of Payee and address to which Prize Monies are to be sent.

CDI RIDERS MAY RIDE IN THE OPEN SHOW ON THURSDAY
CDI riders may also ride in the Open Show on day(s) after their last CDI class

CDI FREESTYLES: JUNIOR TOUR ~ YOUNG RIDER TOUR ~ SMALL TOUR
CDI Riders may enter Team and / or Individual classes on Friday and Saturday
Entry to Freestyle on Sunday is optional
Freestyle is only compulsory for those who:
(1) Enter it on their entry form and (2) Declare for it at FEI Jog


SOME ENTRY CONSIDERATIONS

SEND ENTRIES EARLY ~ POPULAR CLASSES FILL WITHIN 10 DAYS!
For both Breed Show and Dressage Show
Classes will be initially filled according to predicted class sizes
Once a class is filled subsequent entries will be placed on Wait List for that class
At Closing Date adjustments will be made, depending on final entry

STABLING NOTES
Stabling opens 4:00 PM Tuesday
Earlier arrivals must indicate and pay on their entry form
Anyone else arriving early will not fild their stall cleaned
Nor will their pre ordered shavings be delivered!

25 horse stalls in front barns available for Breed Show competitors
First Come / First Serve ~ Preference to Futurity and USDF Breeders Championship competitors

SHAVINGS / HAY PRICES
SHAVINGS $10 PER BAG ~ HAY $15 PER BALE
ALL PRE ORDERS MUST BE COMPLETED, WITH PAYMENT, ON OR BEFORE FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 7TH!
No pre orders will be accepted after that date
Shavings will be available in the Stabling Office in Barn 9 until 6:00 each evening.
Competitors may purchase bedding there and take it to their own stalls

TURN OUT PADDOCKS
Small turnout paddocks (board fence / grass) available for competitor rentals.
Bring chain and lock to secure. $300 for duration of show. Include fee with entry.

RV HOOKUPS
Full hookups are available: 220 electric / sewer
$150 for duration of show. Include fee, and note, with entry.
