NEDA Year End Awards are presented at the NEDA Annual Banquet
This Banquet is held in conjunction with NEDA Fall Weekend Mounted Symposium in November 2008

IMPORTANT RULES FOR 2008!

MEMBERSHIP CHANGE:Rider of a Materiale horse must be a current NEDA member by closing date of the Year End Awards by postmark or fax.  Rider must submit a copy of NEDA membership card with form (including owner’s, if applicable).  It is the competitor’s responsibility to make sure that they (and owners, if applicable) are current members.  It is not the responsibility of the program administrator to notify competitor if membership is not current.

TEST LOCATION RULE:A minimum of one (1) of the scores must be from a show in New England or New York.

TIE BREAKING:  There will no longer be any tied awards.  All median score ties will be broken by using the highest total of the scores submitted.

MUSICAL FREESTYLES:  There are now only three tests required for both USEF and FEI Levels, rather than five for the USEF Level.  Freestyles are often only offered once at each show, giving competitors less of an opportunity to get scores than for their regular tests.  Also, Open, Adult Amateur and Junior/Young Rider categories will be combined unless there are at least three entries in each category.

RESULTS REPORTING:  While sending out individual letters to all our winners was a great personal touch, time constraints on the part of volunteers no longer allows us to do this.  All the results will now be posted on our website at neda.org as soon as possible after the closing date

YEAR END AWARDS FOR DRESSAGE

Submitted scores must be postmarked September 30, 2008 or earlier!

NEDA offers great year-end ribbons & awards for competitors.
Scores are earned during the competition year starting in October 2007 from USEF/USDF
recognized dressage shows in any zone.
Awards are given for three separate categories:

YEAR END AWARDS FOR SPORT HORSE BREEDING DIVISIONS

Submitted scores must be postmarked September 30, 2008 or earlier!

NEDA offers great year-end ribbons & awards for competitors who are showing in the sport horse breed divisions
Scores are earned during the competition year starting in October 2007 from USEF/USDF recognized dressage sport horse breeding show in any Zone

Awards are given for separate age groups:
Foals of 2008 ~ Yearlings ~ Two Year Olds ~ Three Year Olds
Mature Mares (Four Years or Older) ~ Mature Stallions (four years or Older)
Awards will be separated by sex for each age group if there are more than 3 entries for each sex.
Materiale Awards (3 year olds and 4/5 year olds) - to be divided by age if submissions warrant.

Sorry - Championship IBC, Breeders Group, Get of Sire, Amateur Handler, Sport Pony classes are not eligible
