Cindy Sydnor is an articulate and sought out judge and clinician. She has a strong European influence in her classical dressage training. Originally from Milton, Massachusetts, Cindy trained with HL von Schaik in Vermont who sent her for further study with Egon von Neindorff.  Cindy also studied with Karl Mikolka, formerly of the Spanish Riding School; Colonel Bengt Ljunquist, former USET dressage team coach; as well as the reknowned Walter Zettl.  Her international training in Europe and Brazil spanned 7 years and Cindy returned to the US in 1972. She was long listed for the 1976 US Olympics. Cindy has trained 9 horses to Intermediaire and 3 to the Grand Prix.  She has competed nationally at all levels and continues to do so. Cindy translated Walter Zettl’s classic book “Dressage in Harmony” to English.  She continues to contribute to Dressage Today and the USDF Connection.  Her home base, Braeburn Farms, is located in

Snow Camp, South Carolina.
