DEMO RIDER APPLICATION AND INFORMATION

for the

2017 NEDA Fall Symposium

Featuring: CARL HESTER

October 15 - 16, 2017

Presented by:  New England Dressage Association
& being held at Pineland Farms
1545 Intervale Road, New Gloucester, Maine

* DEMO RIDER APPLICATIONS are being accepted between June 14, 2017 and July 7, 2017 *
RIDER must be a NEDA member to apply

Categories of horses to be considered include:
Young Sport Horses - 4, 5 & 6 year olds; and 3rd level through Grand Prix
~ Mr Hester will make the final decision.

Horse and rider combinations will receive:

  • 2 auditor passes (one for rider and one for groom/guest or owner) If you have pre-purchased tickets and are chosen as a demo rider, your tickets will be refunded
  • 1 or 2 demonstration rides under Carl Hester with no fee;
  • 2 lunch passes each day;
  • 2 complimentary tickets to the Wine and Cheese reception Friday late afternoon;
  • An experience of a lifetime!

Other people in your party, including horse owners, must have tickets.  Please plan ahead and purchase auditor tickets in advance.

COST TO RIDE: FREE (1or 2 sessions)

Stabling:
Stabling costs will be borne by the rider and paid to Pineland Farms ($100 for the duration). Horses are encouraged to arrive Thursday afternoon to acclimate to the venue and may stay until Monday morning.

Applications must be received by July 7, 2017 (no exceptions).  Incomplete and late applications will NOT be accepted.  The selection process is set to be completed by early September with riders announced mid-September.

If entering more than one horse, please complete a separate application with video link for each.

Please include a link to a YouTube video of complete test ridden at level applying for, either from a show or a practice test at home. Make sure link works.
