MUSICAL FREESTYLE CLINIC With KAREN ROBINSON OF APPLAUSE DRESSAGE 0 R. Haney   Oak Hill Farm is pleased to announce that we will again be holding a three-day Freestyle Clinic with Karen Robinson of Applause Dressage, October 25 - 27, 2019. Karen has designed her clinics (whether you attend one- or two-days) to put as many tools into your hands as possible, so that you can design and ride your own freestyle. Some riders decide to have Karen finish the project for them following the clinic, in which case the fee of the clinic is partially reimbursed through a 10% discount off the price of the full freestyle package (her rates can be found at www.applausedressage.com). Each clinic session is tailored according your skill level and goals:  1. Day One – Ride to a variety of types of music. Your horse’s tempos at each gait will be recorded allowing you to assess other music as well. Recording information is provided on request. 2. Day Two Mounted (if you choose to ride both days) – Develop rough outline of choreography for freestyle at your level, possibly a complete pattern depending upon how smoothly your session proceeds. If you are not yet ready to ride a freestyle or aren’t sure what your horse’s level will be when the time comes to do a freestyle, then the option is to spend part of the second day riding to music, with a smaller amount of time dedicated to teaching you how to choreograph according to your horse’s strengths and weaknesses. Rate per 45-minute session - $185.00 Limited stabling available - $30 per night; Shavings - $8 per bag Auditors Welcome - $25 for entire clinic Cancellations - If your session can be filled, the clinic fee for that session will be returned minus a $50 Administrative Fee. Cancellations that result in an open time slot will forfeit full fee. ISO Horse to ride while mine rehabs 0 L. Curry Mair 4th Level, L Graduate, Adult Amateur rider finds herself without a horse to ride during the best riding months of the year!    I'm looking for a project to keep me sane and entertained while my mare recovers from surgery. Beautiful farm near GMHA (VT) with 20m X 60m dressage ring, board fenced turnout, excellent care and wonderful hacking trails. I have trained and shown horses to 4th level and have a lifetime of experience in dressage.
